FAQs

What is the best toothbrush to use?

We recommend that you use a toothbrush that fits your mouth. For most people, that means choosing a toothbrush with a small head to best be able to reach every part of your mouth. We also recommend choosing a brush with soft bristles, as stiff bristles can damage your gums. We especially like the OralB electric tooth brushes, which come with a variety of heads. They are especially effective and are available in our office at a significant discount to retailers. Brushing twice a day and flossing once a day is very important for good oral health. Call our office for additional advice on home health care.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are designed to replace a natural tooth that has fallen out or has been removed. In fact, implants can be used to place any number of teeth! The actual implant is a prosthetic tooth root that is inserted into your gum and allowed to fuse with your bone. This creates a strong foundation for the restoration. A crown (or denture of some sort) is then created and loaded onto the implant(s). For more information on our dental implant services, visit our page here.

How can I straighten my teeth?

We offer a comfortable, convenient, invisible solution to your orthodontic needs! Invisalign is made up of a series of clear plastic aligner trays that work to gradually shift your teeth into place over a period of about 12 months.
